Water Restrictions

Water Restrictions

Dear Traveller

Water Restriction have been relaxed to Level 5 by the City of Cape Town as of 1st October 2018.

All water users are required to use no more than 70 litres of municipal drinking water per person per day in total irrespective of whether you are at home, work or elsewhere.

We as a Cape Town business take these measures very seriously and try to contribute as much as we can to make our reserves of potable water last as long as possible.

Several measures have been implemented to maximize water savings.

Taking a shower will be restricted to 2 minutes and once a day only. Bathing in the bath tub is not allowed. All plugs have been removed from the bath tubs.

We provide buckets in our bathrooms and ask  our guests to make use of the empty bucket for collecting water in the shower while waiting until the water becomes warm.

The use of the pool will be restricted to the time before 9.00 am and after 5.00 pm. A pool cover will be fitted during the day in order to reduce evaporation.
